SEC reviews the educational experience in Finland

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Education Council was briefed on the educational experience in Finland through a visit by a delegation headed by Maryam Jaber Al Shamsi, Director of the Early Childhood Department of the council’s cadres to learn from different educational systems in nurseries and schools and receive several specialised courses on childhood matters.
The delegation was headed by Maryam Jaber Al Shamsi, Director of the Early Childhood Department, Mohammed bin Khadem, Director of the Support Services Department, Alia Mahmoud Khairallah, Director of the Government Communications Department, and several nurseries directors in Sharjah and specialised cadres.

This visit was organised within the framework of the council's plan to expand knowledge, raise the expertise and efficiency of its cadres, and work on developing their capabilities by reviewing advanced international experiences in the field of education with the aim of achieving the highest outputs in the various policies sought by the council.

Examining the Finnish experience in the field of education, the delegation of the Council was able to carry out several different programmes and visit a number of nurseries, schools, and libraries in various cities such as Helsinki, Lempaala, Espoo, and Provoo.

The program included the delegation's participation in a workshop on the Finnish education system presented and creativity in teaching.

Dr. Saeed Musabah Al Kaabi, Chairman of the SEC, stressed the importance of the visit made by the Council out of a constant quest to improve the quality of education, especially in the field of nurseries, and to learn about international experiences such as Finland, which is a pioneer in the field of kindergarten education.

Al Kaabi stressed that, in light of the support and follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, President of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, for the various works and activities of the Sharjah Education Council, the Coucil planned the tour to reinforce this essential various aspects.
