Sharjah 24: Sharjah Municipality announced free public parking in Sharjah, starting from Saturday, until Monday, with the exception of areas subject to fees on weekdays and official holidays. The decision coincides with the disruption of work in ministries, federal and local departments and institutions and the private sector, in mourning for the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul.

Sharjah Municipality confirmed that the parking spaces that are subject to fees, throughout the week and holidays, are identified through the blue panels installed below the guiding panels, which show that the parking lot is subject to fees throughout the weekdays and official holidays.

Sharjah Municipality indicated that paid public parking spaces in the city will resume, and fees will be calculated on Tuesday, 17 May 2022.
