Sharjah24: The Committee for Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Municipalities, Security Affairs and Public Utilities of Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) , and the members who submitted a request to discuss the policy of the General Command of Sharjah Police, prepared the entirety of the questions, inquiries and suggestions that will put to senior police officers in the session on Thursday.

The meeting, which was held on Tuesday morning at the headquarters of the Sharjah Consultative Council, was attended by His Excellency Obaid Awad Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Committee on Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Municipalities, Security Affairs and Public Utilities, members of the Committee and a number of members of the Council.

In the meeting, the committee discussed the results of its visit to the headquarters of the General Command of Sharjah Police, and the outcomes of their meeting with  Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief, and his senior officer assistants.

They discussed and dealt with the responsibilities and tasks of the Sharjah Police General Command in playing an active role in the field of security and safety and ways to preserve lives, honor and property within the framework of its strategic objectives in enhancing security and safety and making roads safer.
