Sharjah 24: His Excellency Ahmed bin Rakkad Al Amri, Chairman of Sharjah Book Authority (SBA), highlighted that the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF) establishes and consolidates the position of the child in the world.

His Excellency stated that the SCRF carries the message of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, that the child is the focus of the culture, literature and development of the future.

In statements to "Sharjah 24", Al Ameri confirmed that the authority sees the future in children, through the festival, in which more than 56 countries participate, and includes 1900 diverse cultural activities, and 394 international artists.
