Sharjah24: Major Abdul Rahman Muhammad Bughanim, Director of the Support Services Branch in the Special Tasks Department of Sharjah Police, extended his warmest congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and to the wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, and to Their Highnesses Rulers, Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers and Sheikhs, to the people of the Emirates and those residing on its land, and to the Islamic and Arab nations on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.

In exclusive statements to “Sharjah 24”, Bughanim said: The General Command of Sharjah Police, represented by the Special Tasks Department, is carrying out the ceremony of firing the Happy Eid cannon from Al Badee, where 3 shots are fired after performing the Eid prayer, marking the start of the Happy Eid celebrations.

Major Bughanim added: The Sharjah cannon is used in the Eid ceremonies, and it is a unique cannon designed on the pendulum cannon located in the Sharjah Fort, and is used in the ceremonies of His Highness the Ruler on holidays and occasions.
