Sharjah 24: In conjunction with the anniversary of the International Workers’ Day, Al Batayeh Municipal Council and municipality organised an initiative to honour the workers.

During the initiative, Mohammed Abdullah bin Halis Al Ketbi, Chairman of Al Batayeh Municipal Council, and Abdullah Sultan bin Saluma Al Ketbi, Director of Al Batayeh Municipality, met with workers, and presented them with souvenirs and cash money in recognition of their efforts and in remembrance of the distinctive symbolism of this day, which all world countries mark.

This initiative, which was organised in cooperation with Al Batayeh Police Station and the Central Region Police Department, comes to honour this important and influential category in construction, development, progress and prosperity.

The initiative also aims to bring feelings of joy and happiness to their workers on these blessed days and this dear occasion.

The participants in this campaign affirmed their appreciation for all the workers and expressed their thanks for their achievements.
