Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Education Council (SEC) and the Sharjah General Directorate of Civil Defence (SGDCD) teams qualified for the semi-final round of the twenty-third championship for government bodies, institutions and departments for football.

The championship is organised by the Sharjah Government Employees Club in cooperation with Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled and under the supervision of the Sharjah Sports Council.

Within the quarter-final matches, the Sharjah Education Council team continues to show strong performances and achieves a difficult victory over the Real Estate Registration Department team, with a 1-0 booking the team the first tickets to qualify for the golden square.

Commenting on the win, Al Bayoumi Ibrahim, the coach of the Sharjah Education Council team, expressed his happiness at reaching the semi-finals of the championship and overcoming the real estate registration team. He also praised the strong performance of his players and the implementation of the instructions agreed upon before the match.

Bayoumi added that the team is striving hard to be present in the final match of the championship and achieve the title, thanking the organising committee of the championship for the good organization of the competitions and for providing an opportunity for honest competition, communication and rapprochement among Sharjah government employees during the holy month of Ramadan.
