Sharjah Police distributes ‘Ramadan Meer’ to inmates’ families

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Punitive and Rehabilitation Establishment of Sharjah Police, distributed the Ramadan Meer to 219 needy families of the Establishment’s inmates, in cooperation with a number of associations and institutions, with the aim of making the inmates and their families happy during the blessed month in line with the strategic objective of the Ministry of Interior aimed at enhancing Customer’s satisfaction with the services provided.
The Establishment also launched the “Nasa’em Al Khair” initiative in cooperation with the Sharjah Charity International, which is a financial aid estimated at AED165,000, benefiting 55 families.

Brigadier Ahmed Abdulaziz Shehail, Director of the Sharjah Punitive and Rehabilitation Establishment, confirmed that the Establishment is making tireless efforts through many initiatives and programmes in cooperation with strategic partners, to provide the food and living needs of the inmates’ families and to meet their daily life requirements. 

He praised the strategic partners and their effective role in the success of the Establishment's work, which made it among the world’s best penal institutions that care for the inmates and their families. He appreciated the efforts of charitable and voluntary bodies for their contribution to many charitable works.
