Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Government Employees Club and Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled are organising the 23rd football championship for institutions and government departments, to launch on Monday.

It will start at Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled with 12 teams from Sharjah's government departments and institutions playing.

It is part of a series of events that the Sharjah Government Employees Club is holding so that it can achieve the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and his interest in providing all services to government employees, said Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim, the Chairman of the Sharjah Government Employees Club's Executive Committee.

He stated that the event’s goal is to foster competitive spirit in a group environment during the holy month of Ramadan.
