Al Shamsi attends the third annual meeting of DSPD

Sharjah 24: His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, attended the third annual strategic meeting of the Department of Strategy and Performance Development (DSPD) in Sharjah Police, held at the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization, in the presence of Colonel Tariq Al Midfa, Director of Strategy and Performance Development, department heads, branch managers and specialised employees.
The annual meeting reflects the great importance the Department of Strategy and Performance Development attaches to motivating employees through meetings integrating the social and cultural nature, and far from the daily routine of work.

The annual meeting reviewed a number of strategic and pioneering topics, including the presentation of the draft of the new strategic direction of the Sharjah Police in the next strategic cycle 2023-2026 aimed at specialised strategic analysis and the resulting plans, projects and proposed initiatives to achieve strategic goals. The meeting also presented the institutional governance system of Sharjah Police according to the second version of the governance policy that was recently approved and launched by the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, in addition to discussing the strategic analysis of the administration, identifying strengths and opportunities for improvement and benefiting from them to set future plans and development initiatives during 2022.

Colonel Tariq Al Midfa said that the department decided to organise annual meetings in a way that combines strategic work, brotherly spirit and promoting culture among the employees. He added that this year's meeting was held at the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization, because this edifice represents a leading position at the level of regional and international museums.
 
During the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police honoured the distinguished in the Department of Strategy and Performance Development, praising the efforts made in the competitive and pioneering field, which support the process of developing the security system and enhancing the quality of community life by embodying the vision of the wise leadership that the UAE be the best country in the world in achieving security and safety.

Following the meeting, the staff of the Strategy and Performance Development Department had an introductory tour, during which they used a detailed explanation of the museum's sections, exhibitions and historical artifacts.

At the end of the tour, Colonel Tariq Al Midfa, honoured the management of the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization, represented by Professor Intisar Al Obaidli, curator of the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization, in return for the effective cooperation in hosting the annual meeting, and keenness to support all government agencies in the Emirate of Sharjah.
