Sharjah 24: The draw for the 23rd championship for government entities, institutions and departments held, on Wednesday, organised by the Sharjah Government Employees Club (SGEC) in cooperation with Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled.

This came under the supervision of the Sharjah Sports Council, with the participation of 12 teams representing government departments and institutions in Sharjah, which is scheduled to start on the third day of Ramadan.

The draw resulted in dividing the teams into three groups comprising the first group, the Sharjah Social Services Department, the Real Estate Registration Department, the Sharjah Education Council and the Sharjah Human Resources Department. 

The second group includes the General Department of Civil Defence, the Roads and Transport Authority, the Kalba Municipality and the Sharjah Cooperative Society. 

The third group includes the teams of the Department of Planning and Survey and the Sharjah Airport Authority, the General Administration of the Emiri Guard and the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority.

Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Sharjah Government Employees Club, Counselor Hamid Ali Al Abbar, Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee, Khalifa bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Financial Director, Osama Yousef Al Doukhi, Head of the Culture and Media Committee, and Ahmed Salem Al Mazloum, Secretary General of the Sharjah Government Employees Club, Executive Director Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled and representatives of government departments participating in the event, attended the ceremony.
