Sharjah24: The Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) organized the 19th Voluntary Harvest Camp in which 345 children participated. Runs from March 27-31, the camp targets children from 6 to 12 years old, from 10 am until 12 pm.

Hessa Al Hammadi, Director of the Department of Community Cohesion at the SSSD, praised the partners in this event for participating and believing in the importance of social responsibility and its reflection on the societies, aiming to invest children’s free time, particularly during holidays.

On the other hand, Sindia Abdelrahman, Head of the Voluntary Programmes Department, explained the camp’s activities initiatives implemented during the camp’s 5-day period.

She explained that children were selected from different regions of Sharjah, and activities were organised at the SSSD’s headquarters in Al Hamriyah, Al Dhaid, Al Madam, Khorfakkan, Al Bataeh, Dibba Al Hisn, and Maliha branches.
