Sharjah24 – AFP: As a cold snap hits Istanbul, the city is covered with snow. Classes are suspended through the weekend and more than some 400 flights have been cancelled.

The Turkish State Meteorological Service warns residents that the rare snowstorm is expected to last until the beginning of next week.
