Sharjah24: The Research and Studies Department of Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA), organised workshop in cooperation with American University of Sharjah (AUS), discussed a number of research projects related to the fields of work of the technical and service departments of the authority, within the framework of joint cooperation between the authority and the university in the field of research with the aim of continuous development of projects and services provided by the authority.

Engineer Mayada Salem Al-Bardan, Director of the Research and Studies Department at SEWA, explained that the authority is keen to develop and consolidate relations with universities, local and international, and implement studies and specialised research in the areas of the technical, technical and administrative work of the authority, and apply the practical aspects of research and university studies.

She emphasised that scientific research is one of the most important means that the authority relies on to achieve development and progress and is considered the best option for setting strategic plans on the ground, by adopting the scientific methodology, and relying on scientific research and studies, to develop projects and services and face challenges.

She indicated that during the workshop, which was organised virtually remotely with the AUS, 8 specialised scientific research and studies were reviewed and discussed.
