Sharjah24: On Thursday, February 24, 2022, the Arab Cultural Club in Sharjah hosted a poetry reading featuring Jordanian poet, Samiha Al Tamimi and Egyptian poet Amira Tawhid. Writer Reem Ubaidat provided commentary on the event, which was moderated by Mohammed Baba Hamed.

Al Tamimi read a selection of her poems that represent meditation and spontaneous revelation.

Tawhid's recited poems were marked by a strong sense of longing, nostalgia, and emotional intensity.

At the end of the event,  the Arab Cultural Club's Board of Directors presented certificates of honour to the poets
