Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) has announced the launch of a smart platform available to engineering consultancy offices and approved contractors in the Authority, contributing in submitting and following up with their applications for approval and ensuring the delivery of services for all types of projects in the Emirate of Sharjah. This service aims to facilitate the application process and accelerate the approval of schemes, with assuring of services’ delivery, in addition to saving clients’ time and effort.

Commenting on this, Engineer Ibrahim Al-Balgouni, Director of the Shared Services Department, stressed that the launch of the new service platform represents a qualitative leap in the development and modernization of services provided to customers in cooperation with strategic partners, in line with the wise vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, aiming to ensure providing the best services to both citizens and residents in the Emirate of Sharjah, with keeping pace with the development process in the Emirate and achieving the Authority’s customer satisfaction through using technology and smart applications.

He stressed that the target groups that will benefit from the launch of the platform include more than 180 consulting offices approved by the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, and 162 electricity and gas companies.

He indicated that the Shared Services Department will receive all transactions through the smart platform and stop all other channels for receiving requests, starting from Thursday, February 24, 2022.
