Sharjah celebrates UAE Innovation Month

Sharjah 24: Sharjah's public and private organisations and institutions are taking part in the UAE Innovation Month activities in the Emirate of Sharjah, which conclude on the 18th of this month. Likewise, high school and college students submitted projects that promote an innovative culture, increase community participation, and advance activities that support the UAE government's future directions.
The Supervisory Committee of the UAE Innovation Month activities in the Emirate of Sharjah arranges events for children at Al Majaz Waterfront with the aim of motivating and encouraging future generations to embrace innovation as a way of life.

The Police Science Academy acquainted visitors with the "Virtual Training System,” launched in 2020-2021 with the goal of evaluating the capabilities of all participants in functional programmes, reducing employee training time and requirements, and shifting from traditional training methods.

Sharjah Media City (Shams) invited five of its registered businesses to display their innovative and creative products. 

The Sharjah Social Services Department has created a "fast communication” service that allows 24-hour emergency communication.

The Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey was responsible for initiating the Emirate of Sharjah's Traffic Simulation Model Project.

Sharjah's Environment and Protected Areas Authority seeks to conserve the maritime environment by reproducing thousands of coral reef colonies sustainably and without causing harm to the marine environment through the use of genetically identical micro-reefs.

While the Sharjah Centre for Learning Difficulties participated in two projects, the first was the "Exploration Project," which aims to enable students with learning disabilities to continue their educational path, and the second was a six-story project that discusses six types of learning difficulties and aims to educate the community about the various types of learning difficulties through an engaging narrative style.

Sharjah Academy of Astronomy, Space Sciences, and Technology conducted an evaluation of the Sharjah Lunar Meteorite Observatory, the Middle East and North Africa's first observatory dedicated exclusively to the monitoring and analysis of lunar meteorites.

The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, in collaboration with Customs and Ports Security, has established a number of services via a digital platform with the goal of enhancing society's security and stability, as well as maintaining public safety and road infrastructure.

The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department took part in the "Real Estate Developers Portal" project, which enables real estate developers and investors to register projects and certify contracts through the department's website in three easy steps.

The UAE Innovation Month activities will continue in the Emirate of Sharjah until February 18, and the Emirate of Sharjah's participation in the UAE Innovation Month activities is part of the government's ongoing efforts to foster an innovation culture in the public sector by honouring creative innovators and highlighting their accomplishments that have impacted the lives of individuals and their future.
