SACC hosts novelist Ibrahim Al Kony

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Arab Cultural Club (SACC) hosted the novelist Ibrahim Al Kony, in a panel discussion on his fictional books. The panel discussion tackled several aspects of his novel experience; and the impact of alienation, desert and language on the formation of novels and stimulating writing.
Dr. Omar Abdel Aziz presented Al Kony, and explained that the novelist combines visions in his texts, as he presents a vision of reality through a detailed scene description, and presents a vision through dream and myth that surrounds and envelops that reality, and gives it its metaphysical dimension. 

Dr. Omar Abdel Aziz added that Al Kony language is a living being that changes and transforms, and mixes description and delusion, in what can be called legendary realism.

Dr. Omar, indicated that these wonderful writing capabilities were behind this creative richness of Ibrahim Al Kony’s books, articles, short stories and literary studies international novels and major literary features, in particular the novels.

Ibrahim AlKony began answered the audience’s questions talking about his novel experience, saying that every novel experience consists of two parts, a life experience and an emotional experience, and that the emotional experience is the most important because it creates the need for narration and expressing feelings.
