Sharjah24: The Arab Cultural Club (ACC) in Sharjah held a poetry night, January 27, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, assuming the reins of power in Sharjah.

Moderated by the poet Mohammad Idris, the night had numerous participants including Raad Aman, Talal Al Junaibi, Dr. Akram Qanbis, Dr. Mohammad Al Amin Al Smalali, Heba Al Fiqi, Nayef Al Harees, and Abdul Razzaq Al Darbas.

Dr. Omar Abdel Aziz, Chairman of the ACC, gave a speech, at the beginning of the event, stating that the club is honoured to hold such a night celebrating the 50th anniversary of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah’s reign, during which Sharjah witnessed a comprehensive development and renaissance, whose center was humans.
