Sharjah24: Aiming to enhance its role in community service, Zulal Water Factory of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) distributes 74,597 of Zulal bottled pure drinking water to 14 entities during 2021.

Zulal Water Factory of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) continues its role in serving the community by supporting and sponsoring sports events, activities and institutions, in order to continue the march of progress witnessed by the emirate, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. 

The number of packages distributed to schools and nurseries reached 74,597, which were distributed to 323 private and government schools and nurseries.

During 2021, support and sponsorship was provided to 14 different entities by providing free water bottles or contributing to support and promote campaigns and initiatives that serve the community through the production of packages with special labels that achieve a certain goal.

Commenting on this, Ali Ahmed Ali Al Kindi, Director of the Zulal Water Factory Department, stressed that the Authority is keen to provide pure bottled water for various authorities and events, aiming to maintain the health and safety of the public, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

He stressed the Factory’s keenness to enhance communication with several government and private agencies and sports institutions, contributing in promoting and spreading healthy behaviours among all segments of society, which promotes sustainable development in the Emirate of Sharjah.

He stressed that Zulal Water Factory products comply with the latest specifications and standards of the global water industry, emphasizing the importance of enhancing its development process continuously.

He added that Zulal products are available in a number of retail outlets, associations and cooperatives located in different parts of the country.
