Tariq Abdul Samad visits the Holy Quran Academy

Sharjah 24: His Excellency Dr. Engineer Khalifa Musabeh Al Tunaiji, President of the Noble Quran Academy in Sharjah, welcomed the Quran reciter Sheikh Tariq Abdul Basit Muhammad Abdul Samad, son of the Quran reciter Sheikh Abdul Basit Abdul Samad to the Academy’s headquarters.
Al Tunaiji said that the Academy is a symbol of civilisation radiance for students of science and knowledge. He added that the Academy works through different departments to promote research and academic studies. 

Al Tunaiji said that the Academy contains valuable holdings of famous reciters in the Islamic world, in addition it contains a unique and rare collection of Qurans, manuscripts and archaeological chips. 

Al Tunaiji reiterated the Noble Quran Academy desire to acquire more holdings to achieve goals, stressing that the Academy's gates are open to all.

His Excellency Sheikh Sherzad Abdul Rahman Taher, Secretary General of Holy Quran Academy, explained to Sheikh Tariq the Academy objectives, scientific projects, and the efforts made by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to establish this great work, which he described as a cultural and historical achievement  and considered to be the pride of Sharjah and the Islamic nation.
 
Sheikh Sherzad thanked the reciter’ family and visits to the Academy, and for donating the reciters’ belongings to the Academy, which highlights their contribution and their efforts in serving, preserving and teaching the Holy Quran.

The reciter Sheikh Tariq Abdul Basit Abdul Samad, said that he was keen to visit the Academy as part of his visit to Sharjah, praising the holdings and heritage of famous reciters of the Holy Quran, the Prophet’s biography and Quranic manuscripts since the revelation. 

The son of Sheikh Abdul Basit Abdul Samad praised the efforts of Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi in establishing this great edifice, which is considered a reference for scholar and Muslims all over the world, and invited everyone who visits the United Arab Emirates to visit the Academy that includes valuable treasures of knowledge.
