Sharjah24: Mohammed Ibrahim Al Qasir, Director of Cultural Affairs in the Department of Culture, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Prize for Fine Critical Research (SPFCR), announced the names of the winners of the 12th edition of the award, during an honouring ceremony held by the Department at its headquarters, in the presence of His Excellency Abdullah Al Owais, Head of the Department of Culture, and a number of Arab intellectuals.

Al Owais and Al Qasir honoured the three winners with certificates and commemorative shields, in recognition of appreciation of their intellectual efforts.

The Director of the Department of Cultural Affairs has highlighted the significance of the Sharjah Prize for Fine Critical Research , shedding lights of the most distinguished achievements during the last period. He also underscored the vital and prominent role played by the specialised arbitration committees in preparing the results of the Sharjah Prize  over its past sessions.

On this occasion, one of the winners delivered a sppech, during which he has lauded the great efforts of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, lauding his constant efforts to promote the cultural movement.
