Al Owais: junior Jujitsu Festival attracted 65 participants

Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Owais, the chairman of the Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club, stated that the club was delighted to participate in the tenth Dawahi (Suburbs) Festival hosted by the District and Villages Affairs Department (DVAD) by including a Jiu-Jitsu Festival for children under the age of 14.
"The festival was planned in conjunction with the Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club winning the President's Cup for Ju-Jitsu juniors under the age of 16 and the Women's Cup under-18 category," Al Owais said exclusively to Sharjah 24 in an exclusive statement.
Al Owais presented this achievement to His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, who is the emirate's first sponsor of sports.
Concluding his remarks, he stated that the Jiu-Jitsu Festival for Children attracted an impressive crowd and over 65 participants of both sexes.
