Sharjah24: Al Kharous Suburb Council participated with the Sharjah Charity International in laying the foundation stone of Al Raqq Mosque in Al Dhaid.

Everyone discussed the participation in laying the foundation stone for the new mosque, which the Sharjah Charity International undertook to establish through the efforts of benefactors, to accommodate a thousand worshipers.

A prayer room for women will also be attached to the mosque, as well as a library in the package of the Slavery Mosque project, and its construction phases are scheduled to be completed within 14 months, provided that its design represents an architectural panel that will add to the area a distinctive Islamic architectural style.

On this occasion, Juma Abdullah Al Mughni, Chairman of the District Council, expressed the happiness of the people of Al-Kharous with this initiative, and presented on his behalf and on behalf of the people to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, praising his efforts in providing all the needs of the people and his keenness to support charitable projects.
