Sharjah 24: The meeting of the Organising Committee of Al Batayeh Folk Festival 4 was chaired Sunday morning by Abdullah Sultan bin Salumah Al Ketbi, Director of Al Batayeh Municipality, who approved the agenda for the festival's main events, community initiatives, working committees, and health committee for implementing all precautionary and preventive measures within the festival, as well as the festival's operating hours, which are held in Al Batayeh Public Park.

The fourth edition of the Al Batayeh Festival will kick off on January 6 and run through January 27, 2022 as part of the Sharjah Shopping Promotions, which are organised by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the festival's strategic partner.

Bin Salumah emphasised the festival's organising committee's commitment to diversity and multiplicity of events and activities in order to cater for the diverse interests of all attendees.

An array of traditional artistic performances and competitions will take place at the festival’s theatre.

There are health initiatives throughout the festival’s days, as well as heritage and sports initiatives, as well as children's drawing, sculpture, and photography classes, and children's cinema and theatre.
