Sharjah 24: As part of Cultural and Media Office at the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA) Arabic language campaign, the office organised in conjunction with the International Day of the Arabic Language, a "virtual" dialogue session on the Arabic language.
Dr. Maryam Hashemi moderated the session, featuring Dr. Mohammed Safi Mustghanmi, Secretary General of the Arabic Language Academy.

Dr. Mustghanmi discussed the Arabic language's importance in establishing identity, supporting culture, and encapsulating the concepts of interdependence and unity.

Dr. Mustghanmi stated that multilingualism has become a reality, hence we must cohabit with all world languages, adding that globalisation now encompasses all sectors, but we must also enhance our children's national identities, as well as their Arab and Islamic identities, in parallel with their mastery of other languages.

Through "Zoom" platform, an open dialogue with children was also organised in collaboration with the Arab Parliament for the Child, and Salha Obaid Ghabish, Chairperson of the Cultural and Media Office at the SCFA, hosted the session, emphasising the office's eagerness to provide children with the opportunity to participate in the campaign's activities and sessions.
