Sharjah concludes 4th Arabic Language Competitions

Sharjah 24: The 4th Arabic Language Competitions 2021, was concluded, after five continuous days. A ceremony was organised where winners were awarded.
The competitions that were held at the headquarters of the Arabic Language Educational Centre Educational for Gulf States (ALECGS) in Sharjah were distinguished, with the participation of 21 students (5 male and 16 female students) from all member states of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States.

The ceremony started with a speech by His Excellency Dr. Issa Saleh Al Hammadi, Director of ALECGS in Sharjah, whereas he expressed his happiness that the Member States of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States were keen to participate in the competition as the ceremony organised by ALECGS. 

Al Hammadi pointed out that the event shines from “Sharjah of Culture” that embraces students elected by the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States.

Al Hammadi said that he would like to extend his sincere thanks and appreciation, and great gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah who gave the Arabic language his utmost interest, whereas he gave the historic contest the title  “the Arabic language Competitions" after the competition was conducted in the first version under the title the “Arabic Language Olympiad”.

The winners were honoured with gold, silver and bronze medals and HE Rashid Ahmed bin Sheikh, Chairman of the Amiri Diwan in Sharjah, represented by His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah honoured the winners.

ALECGS in Sharjah offered the shield of Gulf competitions to the patron of the 4th Arab competitions, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah.
