Sharjah24: His Excellency Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, praised the decision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to change the weekly work system and allocate three days as a weekly vacation for employees working in the emirate.

Al Shamsi stated that this decision will achieve more balance between individuals’ personal lives and work requirements, and enhance the bonding between employees and their families, which will positively reflect on the employees’ productivity when they return to their work, and will give them incentive to be dedicated in work. Moreover, and in the long term, this will achieve further progress and prosperity for Sharjah, and will enhance its economic position in the region and in the world.

His Excellency also clarified that this wise decision is in line with global work trends that are moving towards providing more comfort and private time for employees, and it is a pioneering decision with distinction that will certainly reflect on the mental health of employees and their families, and enhance the bonds of community relations by providing qualitative time for the practice of cultural and recreational family activities on holiday, while maintaining the spirituality of Friday.
