Sharjah Police participates in 10th edition of Dawahi Festival

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police General Command participated in the "Dawahi" festival, in its tenth edition, at Al Qarayen Park in Sharjah, with variety of activities, events, and cultural programs.
During its opening on Thursday evening, the Sharjah Police Pavilion was visited by Sheikh Muhammad bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Head of the Department of Statistics and Community Development in Sharjah, His Excellency Khamis bin Salem Al Suwaidi, Head of the District and Villages Affairs Department, and Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director of the District and Villages Affairs Department, in the presence of Lt. Colonel Ahmed Muhammad Al Marri, Director of the Community Police Department. In Sharjah, Lt. Col. Hamad bin Qasmol, Deputy Director of the Department, and a number of officers and senior officials in the Emirate.

Lt. Colonel Ahmed Al Marri, Director of the Community Police Department, stressed the Sharjah Police's keenness to communicate with all members of society through a number of activities and achieve the visions of the future police leadership for a modern, advanced police with strategic goals that contribute to strengthening the relationship between the police and the public.

The participation of Sharjah Police throughout the festival also includes many programmes to create a festive and entertaining atmosphere aimed at enhancing communication and family bonding among community members, especially during the school holidays.

The Sharjah Police Pavilion at the Suburbs Festival in its tenth session took care of many events that in turn attract not only the child, but the whole family, starting from drawing, through art workshops and the free studio, to special competitions, and other activities and competitions, which are suitable for all age groups. In addition to the participation of the young policeman in the traffic safety section with the strategic partner represented by the Sharjah Driving Institute.
