Sharjah24: The Arab Cultural Club (ACC) in Sharjah hosted a poetic event named "Poems for Year 50 " yesterday evening to commemorate the United Arab Emirates' 50th National Day. A group of poets resurrected the occasion, expressing their pride and love for the UAE, whose union set an example for Arabs to follow and whose people enjoy peace and security on its land.

Poets Akram Qunbis, Sajida Al-Musawi, Hiba Al-Fiqi, Mohammad Idris, Mohammad Ali Hafiz, and Wael Al-Jishi took part in the event, which was moderated by Nasr Badwan.
