Sharjah Events Festival will entice cultural enthusiasts with poetry evenings and capture the interest of young visitors with an array of workshops, shows, and a raffle draw. Those who register online for the event will be included in the raffle draw and will be eligible to win attractive prizes.

The first day of the festival will witness the unveiling of Sharjah’s 2022 calendar of events and celebrations.

Noting that the festival caters to the interests of all segments and age groups of the community, HE Tariq Saeed Allay, Director General of SGMB, said: “Sharjah’s year-round events and activities fuel the emirate’s journey of comprehensive community development, and embody the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. Through this first-of-it’s kind festival, we will unveil Sharjah’s cultural agenda for 2022, and at the same time, offer attendees a variety of family-friendly activities suitable for all segments of the community.”

“The festival also aims to provide networking and collaboration opportunities for participating entities along with a vibrant platform to showcase their work and activities to the community. Moreover, they will be able to connect and strengthen their relationships with the public in a fun-filled environment,” Tariq Saeed Allay added.

In creating a unique opportunity for participating entities to strengthen cohesion and showcase their cultural offerings to the public, the festival is bolstering Sharjah’s efforts to continue developing its appeal as a top destination in the region for business, tourism, leisure, and family-friendly activities.
