Sharjah 24: Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, said that the celebration of this historic day represents a station at which we explore the great achievements of our country, consolidated by the strenuous efforts made by our great leaders to provide integrated development and decent living that our society deserves.

In a statement to the 'Nation Shield', the UAE Armed Forces magazine, on the occasion of the UAE's 50th National Day, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed added that marking the national day is celebration that reflects the appreciation and recognition of the members of our society to what the founding fathers achieved building on a well-established and sound foundation, and  solid effort, to build a stable and cohesive society, tracing, in this, the path of wise leadership.
