Al Kharous Suburb Council celebrates UAE 50th National Day

Sharjah 24: With a march and popular songs, and with the participation of thousands of people, Al Kharous Suburb Council of the Sharjah Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs organised celebrations of the UAE 50th National Day, whereas a number of government departments and bodies participated to praise the achievements of the United Arab Emirates.
Al Dhaid Municipality, Social Services Department in Dibba Al Hisn, Dibba Society for Culture Arts and Theatre, Al Kharous Police Station, Sharjah Broadcasting Authority and Abu Dhabi Media participated in the National Day activities with Al Kharous Suburb Council.

The event was attended by Retired Major General Rashid Al Mahyan, Chairman of the Parents Council, Mattar Al Khashri, Director of the Amiri Diwan in Dibba Al Hisn, Dr. Mohammed bin Howaiden, President of Al Dhaid Municipal Council, Ahmed Sultan Al Dhahouri, Vice President of Dibba Al Hisn Municipal Council, members of the Advisory Council, government officials, residents and visitors. 

The celebration began with a march that started from the suburb mosque, attended by senior attendees and invitees, accompanied by military music and folklore bands, and adorned with the UAE flags.

The major celebration was organised in Al Kharous Park, and many national heritage songs were presented, and Al Kharous people took the oath.

The ceremony included a number of workshops for children, traditional cuisine, and a market for productive families.

Al Kharous national celebration it is the first event to be held in the newly established suburb with a donation by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, President of the State, may God protect him, building 264 popular houses, and His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, may God protect him, allocating lands to the people of Dibba Al Hisn in Al Kharous area.

Juma Abdullah Al Mughni, Chairman of AlKharous Suburb Council, extended the highest congratulations and blessings to the leadership and people of the United Arab Emirates on the occasion of the National Day, which comes to express meanings of pride and joy in the state’s achievements.
