Sharjah 24: Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development, stated that the 50th UAE National Day represents an important occasion to celebrate the achievements made during UAE’s journey in various economic, social, cultural and scientific fields.

He added that such accomplishment earned the UAE a prominent position among nations, which embodies the great vision of UAE’s wise leadership and its ambition to build on these gains during the next fifty years.

He maintained that the Department of Statistics and Community Development is proud of its contribution towards the development of the UAE, through its role in completing social and economic statistical surveys. In addition to population census surveys, in line with the Sharjah's development plans and the rapid growth it is witnessing in various sectors.
