Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Department of Culture will launch the 24th edition of the Islamic Arts Festival on December 15, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. Artists from the UAE and around the world will take part in representing the festival's theme in a variety of techniques and styles.
The management of the Cultural Department chose to spread the festival's artworks around Sharjah, including Khorfakkan Amphitheatre, The House of Wisdom, Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park, Al Majaz Waterfront, and Calligraphy Square.

The committees preparing for the 24th edition of the Islamic Arts Festival are continuing their intensive preparations, inspired by His Highness's civilised and enlightening vision, with the goal of creating a global human discourse centered on culture and the arts, according to Mohammed Ibrahim Al Qaseer, Director of the Department of Cultural Affairs.

The Islamic Arts Festival was founded in 1998 upon the directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, and it has since created a new artistic vision for Islamic arts while preserving its aesthetics and historical significance.
