Sharjah 24: Sharjah Children (SC), affiliated to the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, continues its awareness campaign, "You are their true hero", which it launched in early October with the "Environment" axis, via social media sites. The campaign includes the posting of many videos that emphasise the importance of having a role model.

During the second axis of the campaign, an awareness video was posted, presenting the “father” in the role of the true hero, being a role model for the children. The video showed the importance of the father’s role in shaping the personality of his children, and the need to educate children about the importance of maintaining their physical fitness, practicing sports and not sitting in front of devices electronic for long hours.

The third axis sheds light on the "mother" and her role in raising and caring for her children, integrating them into their family and social surroundings, forming their personalities, supporting their self-confidence and helping them develop their skills. In addition to raising their awareness of the role of a mother and her sacrifices for her children as she is the person that has a direct impact on their upbringing.

As for the fourth axis, a video was posted dealing with the role of the grandfather in the family and presenting it as a model through which the young are affected by the culture, heritage and customs of the parents and the community, and his knowledge of what he inherited from the grandparents. In addition to introducing the children to the heritage of the UAE, and raising their awareness of the importance of preserving their identity and culture. 

The campaign aims to highlight the role of the SC in educating children and making them aware of the importance of preserving their health and environment and avoiding wrong behaviours, as well as educating them and directing them towards good role models and emulation, in addition to creating a conscious generation capable of positively influencing and highlighting the talents and capabilities of its affiliates.
