Sharjah 24: On the occasion of the fiftieth United Arab Emirates National Day, Sharjah TV of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA) launched a talk show entitled "Emaratna" (our Emirates), which reviews, in 8 episodes, the achievements of the UAE during the fifty years.

The programme highlights the developmental renaissance of Sharjah and its cities under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. Each episode, presents a documentary on one of the prominent development projects that have been achieved within the Union.

The programme, which will be broadcast at 6 pm, starting from 23 to 30 November, tackles the efforts that have been made during the last fifty years to reach the comprehensive development in all sectors, reviewing the most important factors that contributed to the successes of the main sectors in the UAE.

The 45-minute programme seeks to highlight the UAE developments, in general, and Sharjah developments, in particular, in the industrial, commercial and banking fields, and other aspects related to community service at the health, educational, service, environmental, cultural, tourism and security levels.

The programme tackles the achievements made in Sharjah for family and children; women empowerment; and attention to youth; and other achievements that have been made to the Emirati society since the establishment of the union fifty years ago.
