Sharjah Police begins national day celebrations with flag parade

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police General Command began Sunday morning its celebrations on the occasion of the 50th National Day of the United Arab Emirates, which falls on December 2, with a march entitled "Fifty Flags for the 50th" organised by the Comprehensive Police Stations Department, accompanied by the national anthem band playing.
The celebration was launched with the participation of 50 members in front of the comprehensive Wasit Police Station gate, carrying the state flags, with a scene in which the flags of the Emirates were draped, an expression of belonging and loyalty to the homeland and its wise leadership, and adherence to the values of the union that were bequeathed to us by the founding fathers.

Colonel Youssef Obaid Harmoul, Director of the Comprehensive Police Stations Department, said that this march consists in spreading the message of renewing the covenant and loyalty to the UAE, as the flag embodies the national identity of the UAE, and enhances the position of the National Day in the hearts of the people of the Emirates.
