Sharjah24: Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS) is participating in the 40th Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) from 3 to 13 November by announcing the launch of new booklet that raises awareness of Autism Spectrum.

SCHS will launch its new booklet “Communicating for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder- The Way I Communicate”  as part of the 60-second series, which was launched in 2018, with the aim of raising awareness of members of the society of that topic in accordance with the international best practices.

Building on that, Anwar Obeid, a senior speech and language specialist in SCHS, confirmed that the new version is distinguished in presenting and addressing theoretical frameworks that specifically dealt with communication among people with autism spectrum disorder and practical applications directed to families and specialists.

Anwar Obeid, pointed out to the fruitful cooperation between the Speech and Language Council and the Department of Educational and Rehabilitation Services of SCHS in launching this booklet, which will be available at prices that suit everyone.
