Sharjah24: Louay Saeed Alai, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled, confirmed that the decline in the rate of infections with the Coronavirus, and the easing of restrictions herald the return of sports activities in various state facilities, including the Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled, which resumed its activities by hosting the first gathering of strength lifts.
He added, in statements to “Sharjah 24”, that the gathering included about 32 male and female players from 6 clubs for the disabled at the state level, and the gathering is one of the preparatory activities for the Cup of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State.

He explained that the Paralympic Committee is keen to organise such gatherings to refine and train players and raise their levels to participate in the largest possible number of qualified players in local, regional and international sports competitions and forums.
