Sharjah 24: Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD) celebrated Flag Day, coinciding with the anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, assuming the presidency, via a ceremony of raising the UAE flag on the department's building.

The ceremony was attended by Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of the SRERD, Abdulaziz Al Saleh, Director of the SRERD, Sheikh Ahmad bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Head of the Strategic Planning and Institutional Excellence Office in the Department, and Humaid Al Abbar, the Department’s Advisor, and other empolyees.

Al Shamsi stated that Flag Day is an important national occasion in which all citizens and residents in the UAE celebrate, to express their loyalty and love towards the country

He added that the citizens and residents are proud of the achievements of the UAE over the past 50 years, while at the same time, it is moving forward to accomplish more in the next 50 years.
