Sharjah 24: Lt. Col. Muhammad Alai Al Naqbi, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department at the Sharjah Police General Command, chaired a meeting on the communication plan for the Traffic and Patrols Department, held at the Fazaa pavilion at the Expo 2020, in the presence of the department heads and specialised officers.

The meeting aimed at reviewing the results of the strategic indicators of the Traffic and Patrols Department; discussing a number of immediate and future traffic plans that aim to enhance road security, most importantly, the work plan for the winter season; reviewing the communication plan, aimed at improving traffic, achieving quality of provided services, and work mechanism implementing the strategic proposals and initiatives; in addition to raising a number of relevant topics.

The meeting reviewed a number of observations monitored by the public, developed a mechanism to develop solutions, and discussed a new work mechanism aimed at launching qualitative initiatives using the latest technological means, which contributes to achieving traffic safety at Sharjah level.

The Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department praised the efforts of the officers and department employees, for their distinguished results that contribute to achieving the goals of the Command in line with the vision of the Ministry of Interior aimed at enhancing the quality of security within the UAE community.
