Sharjah24: Mansour Al Hassani, general coordinator of the 11th edition of the Publishers Conference, explained that the conference brought together 546 publishers and literary agents from around the world, and they were introduced to the mechanism of participation to obtain a translation grant at the Sharjah International Book Fair, which is worth $300,000.

Mansour Al Hassani stated that the conference will be held this year in cooperation with the International Publishers Association, during the period from October 31 to November 2, before the launch of the 40th session of the Sharjah International Book Fair at the Expo Center Sharjah.

Al Hassani added, in statements to "Sharjah 24", that the conference complements Sharjah's efforts in building a knowledge society, which follows the visions of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
