Sharjah 24: Sharjah Coop participated in a panel session at Expo 2020 Dubai organised by SAP, during which it hosted a group of the largest local and regional companies, with the aim of exchanging experiences and mechanisms to develop annual plans and strategies related to the workflow and tools for development at all levels.

The panel tackled a number of vital issues, including ways to enhance the work environment, ways to develop the services provided by the concerned companies to individuals, in addition to the rationales that companies pursue in developing employees, and providing them with new experiences and professional skills.

During the session, Sharjah Coop presented its experience in digital transformation in cooperation with SAP, and the paths it has taken in transforming its digital project, aiming at transforming shopping into a unique experience that meets the aspirations of shoppers and workers alike.

Faisal Khalid Al Naboodah, Director of Public and Community Relations at Sharjah Cooperative Society (SCS), stressed that visiting the Expo 2020 Dubai, and participating in the session, comes within the framework of the cooperative's keenness to actively collaborate in different events organised by the UAE, in addition to its approach based on strengthening cooperation frameworks with local and global companies, to exchange experiences that would enrich the development project pursued by the cooperative.

He added that the cooperative reviewed its digital experience with SAP, with the aim of developing and accelerating the quality of its services, by employing the latest digital programmes that provide services of international standards to the public, suppliers, and professionals, which contributes to saving time and effort.

Al Naboodah concluded that Sharjah Cooperative constantly seeks to develop annual plans and strategies, look into potential challenges, and develop pre-emptive solutions, which leads to the development of the work system empowering employees' capabilities and performance, to achieve quality services and luxury in shopping.
