Sharjah24 – Reuters: Actors Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek added the Hollywood glamor to the world premiere of Marvel Studios' latest comic book adaptation, 'Eternals', on Monday (October 18).
The film not only boasts one of the most diverse casts of any Marvel movie but it's also directed by Chloe Zhao, whose film "Nomadland" swept the Oscars earlier in the year.

Gemma Chan plays the lead role of Sersi, who is a member of the Eternals, a group of aliens who have lived on Earth and secretly guided humanity for 7,000 years without getting involved.

However, the events of 'Avengers: Endgame' forces the secretive group to come out of the shadows.

'Eternals' also features the MCU's (Marvel Cinematic Universe) first gay kiss as well as their first deaf character in Lauren Ridloff's Makkari.

'Eternals', which was delayed a year because of the pandemic, will finally hit cinemas on November 5.
