Sharjah24: In celebration of the International White Cane Day ; The Ministry of Community Development, in cooperation with the Emirates Association for the Visually Impaired, organised on Friday at Expo 2020 Dubai, the White Cane March (WCM) , in the participation of a number of dignitaries, ministers and top officials.

Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance, headed the White Cane March at Expo 2020 Dubai, in the presence of Reem Al Hashimi  Minister of State for International Cooperation. 

Her Excellency Hessa bint Issa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development, confirmed that Expo 2020 Dubai is fully prepared to receive all segments of society, including the special needs, who many services are being provided for them in the exhibition.

She declared to “Sharjah 24”, on the sidelines of her attendance at the White Cane March, that the UAE and Dubai are fully qualified to allow all members of society to participate in the international exhibition.
