Sharjah 24: “The Holy Quran Academy (HQA) is an icon for the Emirate of Sharjah, the Arab world and even the whole world,” affirmed Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director-General of Department of eGoverment in Sharjah.

He expressed the highest appreciation and praise to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the founder of this great edifice.

Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed’s words came as he headed Monday the Department of e-Government’s delegation to the HQA where they toured its various departments and museums. He stressed that future generations will benefit vehemently from this academy, adding that their visit opened the door for more visits to come, thanking the efforts of those in charge of the academy.

Welcoming the delegation,  Dr. Eng. Khalifa Musabeh Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Holy Quran Academy and Sheikh Sherzad Abdul Rahman Taher, Secretary General of the HQA, detailed the delegation on the Academy’s museums and departments, praising the efforts of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, who spared no effort in laying the foundations of this great edifice.
