Sharjah24 – Reuters: Researchers in California unveiled a bipedal robot on Wednesday that combines walking with flying to create a new type of locomotion, allowing it to jump, skateboard and walk on a slackline.

Commenting on this, Patrick Spieler, researcher said, "I think we're going to see robots like LEONARDO with these extraordinary locomotion capabilities used in things like space exploration because they can overcome very difficult terrain. They can reach hard-to-reach places. But then I think also robots will be more and more in our daily lives.”
