Sharjah 24: The Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, in collaboration with the Parents Council in the Central Region, hosted the "Sports Day for Teachers of the Central Region" on the occasion of International Teacher's Day.

Mohammed Sultan Al Khasouni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, told "Sharjah 24" that teacher from Sharjah's central region were invited to participate in the Sports Day's activities, which included a variety of individual and team sports such as football, basketball, and swimming.

He explained that the event is a homage to the teacher and his role in spreading science and knowledge among society's members, and he expressed his gratitude to the Central Region Council of Students' Parents, as well as the Council's chairman, for their assistance in organising the event.
