Sharjah 24: Fatima Khalifa Al Mokarrab, Director of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI)’s International Relations Department, confirmed that SCCI hosted a delegation from the Italian region of Umbria, led by Donatella Tesei, with the goal of strengthening relations and developing cooperation between Italy and the Emirate of Sharjah.

Al Mokarrab told "Sharjah 24" that during the visit, a number of issues of mutual interest were discussed, all of which contribute to the progress of trade and investment cooperation relations between Sharjah and the Italian region. In addition to the realisation of the private sector's aspirations on both sides, and the enhancing of communication and cooperation at various levels between the two friendly countries, particularly in the field of education, academics and those involved in the information technology sector.

She went on to note that the Italian delegation had become acquainted with several of the Emirate of Sharjah's investment opportunities and had visited various local institutions and organisations to learn about the services, facilities, and investment opportunities offered to entrepreneurs.
